Difficulty in dismantling the patriarchy of the legal profession

"Male domination is an inseparable phenomena with the human history. The shackles have only been strengthened with the prevalence of feudal era. Legal parlance being a reflection of the society at large in a micro form is no departure from the chronic practice. The dictum of patriarchy has long been the call of the profession wherein no feminine insinuation would be tolerated. Any attempt by any woman to annihilate such unwritten aphorism would be hard done by primitive ammunitions of criticism, discouragement accompanied with severe decrier sufficient enough to eradicate the optimist frondeur from the field. The work of the author is an endeavor to decode the painstaking efforts taken by class of women to dismantle the stereotypes and disarm the patriarchy in the legal parlance and the consequences thereof. The study reflects of vivid idea of the obstacles faced by females in the legal profession in the High Court at Calcutta and is a candid fervor of how successful they are to dismantle the patriarchy in the legal profession.
