DIGITAL DESIGN IN ELECTRONICS

The choice of element basis (TTL, ECL, the MOS, CMOS or their modifications) is defined by the requirements shown to electrical parameters of a combinational circuit: to high-speed performance, power consumption, a noise immunity, etc. Analysis of logical elements led on a practical training 2-4, and the recommendations received on their basis about their application allow the designer to select after estimate calculations this or that variant of the circuit of a basic element proceeding from technical project requirements. The possible method of implementation of a projected circuit is thus defined also: element implementation on the basis of ready circuits of the logical elements which are produced in lots in the form of IC or a part of the functional libraries for designing of the large-scale integrated circuit; component implementation - by development of the original circuit.
