Digital Diplomacy and the Consolidation of US Hegemony:

Global hegemony comes as the latest model or edition of the global community after the human revolutions in agriculture, industry and informatics. Global hegemony means the upholding of new values and the overthrow of old ones. It represents a natural progress towards a world without borders. It is a mixture between the values of the North and the ethics of the South, between the products of the East and the theses of the West. The global hegemony or the digital revolution has four theses or interpretations. The first explanation relates to the redistribution of wealth, the second relates to comparative capitalism, the third explanation relates to modernization, and the fourth is closely related to informatics, digital and social communication.One of the most important products of the development of communication technology is the emergence of forms of diplomacy, the most important of which are digital diplomacy and electronic diplomacy, and this means the emergence of a new global diplomacy in which activists, private and public organizations, political leaders and the general public use social media such as Facebook and Twitter to spread ideas, build cultural relations globally.
