This is the second book in my John & Andy series. It continues the story of John, a super-clever, sometimes annoying, perpetually hungry 10-year-old boy and the alien Andy sharing his brain.Although he is living a normal-seeming life near Reading, England, John becomes suspicious that something is dead wrong with his father. A dark background to everyday life permeates the book. Still Andy and John have a lot of fun - with Andy's help John develops his abilities and makes new friends.Set in 2010 Disappear in Darkness is light-heartedly funny but with dark patches and some adult themes. As John remarks to his brain-mate about the stories which bear their names, "Another reason for writing my memoirs, Andy - alien possession has had a bad Press."
