An observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out to characterize according to epidemiological clinical variables the patients diagnosed with diseases of the major salivary glands treated in the Maxillofacial Surgery Service of the Provincial Hospital Saturnino Lora Torres in the period from January 2020 - January 2022. The study consisted of 38 patients, showing a preponderance of ages between 35 and 59 years old, the majority of patients were male, the parotid gland was the most affected, by means of the clinical, imaging and histological method it is proved that benign tumor lesions prevailed in the study.
