In the development of modern technosphere, waste recycling in the process of technological combustion with a focus on resource saving combines engineering challenges and environmental responsibility. Formation of dispersed phase in waste recycling turns into a topical problem of technosphere ecology - a highly demanded direction in the conditions of transition to circular economy The paper considers the key problems of industrial waste utilization by methods of technological combustion. The physical and chemical mechanisms of the processes and factors influencing the recycling efficiency are analyzed. Special attention is paid to promising directions of development of thermal recycling technologies and existing limitations of their application. Recommendations for improving the safety and efficiency of technological combustion in the technosphere are proposed.
