Dissimilar Material Joining

There are several methods for joining Mild steel to Aluminium like solid state welding, diffusion bonding and brazing.But out of all those Cold Roll Bonding is much more simpler and cheaper. Working is easy, no additional operational cost. I have joined Mild Steel to Aluminium by this method and samples were tested for some tests like shear-strength test, metallography, microhardness . The strength properties are more or less same. So it is good to opt for this. In this project book I have compared all process by which dissimilar material joining is possible. Detailed experimental work is also mentioned. This was on small scale but for large scale also we can use it. Since there is no any melting and fusion dilution problem is solved. Cold roll bonding can replace overlay and cladding welding processes. I would like to dedicate this work to A.a..a
