Distance Course Management System, an Educational Platform

Paidei (LogiCampus) is a distance course management system that is available to educational institutions. Built in conjunction with Tarrant County College Center, Fort Worth, Texas, USA; this provides a single sign-on for students, and staff and provides more than just a distance learning system. Standard Tools are provided for faculties to create their online courses, process assignments, tests and stay in contact with the students. Students enjoy being able to easily see their assignments, lessons and other information about their classes. Staff benefit by other applications such as the built-in help desk, textbook- requisitions, exam-scheduling and faculty course changes. Our Course Management System is customised on the open source application server (LogiCreate) providing additional foundation on which an institution can build further integrated applications easily and practically, since open source systems do not work straight away needing much hard work and modification. In this project the development contributed by the Agile Technologies of PUCIT and its final Team, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan is elaborated.
