Mira Amelia Brigston, daughter of an influential, wealthy family, unexpectedly uses the first chance she gets to move away from them. Thank you for reading my latest novel 'Distance Within'. My name is Sara Linnéa and I was born in 2005, in northern Germany. Growing up I always had a fondness for writing and now finally decided to publish my first work. 'Distance Within' is a story exploring various kinds of relationships that were partly inspired by my own experiences. Due to certain events in my life I often felt a great distance between me and my parents, which wasn't always easy for them or other people to understand. For me it is important to point out the struggles children with dysfunctional parent-child relationships have to face, as well as showing that it can be hard to build new trust and closeness once they're strained. I follow the strong belief that care and love exceed genetic relation or wealth every time. You choose your family - the people that make you feel at home.
