Distribution System Reliability Analysis using Distributed Generation

In this book, the DGs are integrated with radial distribution networks to reduce the total active and reactive power losses and also to enhance the voltage profile and probability indices of the system. The book consists of design and modeling of the Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) in SIMULINK, optimization approaches with GA and PSO used for position and capacity of DGs defined with few objective functions which are incorporated in this book.

Dr. K. Amaresh presently working as Asso.Professor in EEE department, KSRMCE, Kadapa,A.P.He obtained his B.E (EE) from Bangalore University, M.Tech (EPS) from JNTUniversity Hyderabad and Ph.D from JNTUA, Anathapuramu. He has contributed 18 technical papers in various National/International Conferences and Journals. He is a member of IEI and ISTE.
