Karim Karamali is a Boston, Massachusetts area radio DJ, personality, and music director known as "DJ Pup Dawg". Born in Pakistan, DJ Pup Dawg moved to Los Angeles at a very young age where he began his career as a DJ. Early on in his career Pup would DJ at house parties, and was known to bring in his tape deck to DJ from one tape deck to another. At night, he would climb into bed, portable radio hidden under his shirt, and tune into Magic 106. He d also tune into KDAY, the legendary AM station that helped launch west coast hip-hop. These stations influenced Pup s style as an aspiring young DJ, but It wasn t until senior year in high school that Pup really began to pursued mixing.
