Dog breeding

The textbook is intended for students majoring in 'Animal Product Manufacturing Technology.' The main sections are devoted to describing individual dog breeds that play a specific role in everyday and industrial activities, in particular the role of dogs as active assistants to shepherds, herders, and cattle breeders in transhumance. The Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to implement the appeal of the Republican Association of General Associations of Hunters and Hunting Entities, recommended that a full course in cynology be introduced into the educational programmes for the training of biologists, zootechnicians, hunting experts and veterinarians at the expense of the university component.
