Informationen zum Autor John Harrison is Reader in Human Geography at Loughborough University and an Associate Director of the Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) research network. He is an urban-regional geographer interested in how large urban and regional spaces are conceptualized and mobilized politically. His recent publications have focused on global urban and regional governance. He is also co-editor of Planning and Governance of Cities in Globalization (Routledge, 2013) and Megaregions: Globalization's New Urban Form? (Edward Elgar, 2015), as well as an editor of the journal Regional Studies . Michael Hoyler is Reader in Human Geography at Loughborough University and an Associate Director of the Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) research network. He is an urban geographer interested in the transformation of cities and metropolitan regions in contemporary globalization. His recent publications have focused on (world) city and city-regional network formation. He is also co-editor of Global Urban Analysis (Earthscan, 2011), the International Handbook of Globalization and World Cities (Edward Elgar, 2012), Cities in Globalization (Routledge, 2013) and Megaregions: Globalization's New Urban Form?
