In this rapidly changing modern life, there is growing focus on rights and obligations that are applicable to all as the basis for promoting and measuring progress toward our much cherished goals of peace, justice, freedom and better standards of living. Unfortunately, the South Asian Countries, particularly Pakistan is repeatedly being confronted with the questions of how they can legitimize the universal human rights for women and children. This book is written to promote awareness and understanding of psychosocial problems of the Pakistani women; domestic violence and child abuse which are considered tabooed issues in the Pakistani society. The author has further added sections on Managing Stress and Application of Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Pakistani healthcare system.
