Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Abuse

Descriptive comparative observational study. The study population were the victims notified to the Epidemiological Surveillance System of Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Violence -SIVIM in the capital district in 2011 and 2012. For each type of violence, the study variables were: Sex, Marital Status, Schooling, Type of user, Location, Type of violence, Place of occurrence, Sequelae, Pregnant woman, Person with disability, Gender of the aggressor and Relationship with the aggressor. For the analysis of the information, descriptive statistical measures such as central tendency (mean) and frequency measures (Proportion) were applied.
