In the early 1980s at the age of 20 he recorded his first 30 original songs with Jim Zolis (Zolis Audio), which were well received in his former hometown of Toronto, Canada. A prolific songwriter he has penned more than 500 songs since that time, in many various styles ranging from bluegrass to country to light rock to hard rock and blues.
