"Dristikona" is an anthology of narratives woven through the lens of an Indian Globetrotter, spanning across memories scattered across the globe. These tales are deeply personal, intricately interwoven with the artistry of people I've encountered, engaged with, or been regaled about. As I traversed each fleeting moment, others embarked on their own unique journeys of perception, encapsulating the world through their distinct viewpoints. With this collection, I aspired to craft a captivating mosaic that celebrates the rich diversity of perspectives, encompassing a multitude of experiences and lessons. Some of these stories are ingeniously reframed to offer glimpses from another's vantage point, transforming into intriguing exercises in empathy and understanding.

Hailing from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, Poorni Badrinath is a cartographer, avid reader, musician, and aspiring writer with a boundless curiosity for the world. Her passions revolve around maps, books, and map stores filled with atlases, especially if there's a cosy corner to enjoy a cup of coffee. She currently lives in Berlin, Germany and dreams about spinning and weaving stories and designing great maps!
