Drones For Environmental Assessment

Drones have become a powerful tool for scientific work, providing high resolution images and allowing studies in inhospitable and/or difficult to access places. In this book, we address the use of drones to evaluate and monitor the environmental quality of the coastal vegetation of restingas in the southern coast of Brazil, developing a protocol for the use of free software for image processing and analysis.
