DRRM in the Philippines: Enhancing Disaster Resiliency

This book describes the status of implementation of disaster risk reduction and management in the Province of Camarines Norte in the Philippines. The four components of DRRM: prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery and rehabilitation are assessed. The researchers identified the enhancing and hindering factors to DRRM implementation and recommend an enhancement plan to improve DRRM implementation in the locale of study. This book will be significant to local government officials, agencies and DRRM practitioners and academic researchers.
