The regulation of pharmaceutical products and Drugs was expended since early 20th century. The Drug Regulation and drug laws were being recognized in many countries across the world. Those countries which have Regulatory organization they attempting to harmonize with that organization. In Pakistan, the pharmaceutical industries are producing all major pharmaceutical dosage forms; most of the raw material is imported and some are manufactured locally. Even though the total expenditure on the drug is not enormous, the affordability of safe and effective medications remains a serious problem. In Pakistan the Drug regulatory authority of Pakistan (DRAP) was recognized under the (DRAP) Act 2012 to provide Enforcement of the Drug Act 1976 and effective coordination. And it also harmonized therapeutics good in inter provincial trade and commerce. Whereas its providing Regulation, to manufacture, export, import, storage, sale and distribution of therapeutic good/pharmaceutical products.
