Dual Polarised Patch Antenna for Multiple-Input Multiple-Output

In modern wireless communication, MIMO technology is a key breakthrough reshaping antenna design. This book, based on rigorous research, helps readers grasp MIMO's performance edges, innovative antennas, and experimental results. We compared MIMO and SISO architectures; experiments proved MIMO's quantified advantages. We developed an inset feed dual-polarised patch antenna (with advanced combining) that outperforms vertical polarised systems. Its DGS-integrated feed line boosts inter-port isolation by nearly 30 dB, reducing interference. Top electromagnetic software simulated single/dual-polarised antennas, refining designs for physical tests (return loss, isolation, radiation patterns). Keithley tools measured 2×2 MIMO link performance across three setups, comparing signal power and SNR to guide choices. This book aids wireless communication researchers, engineers, and students, contributing to MIMO advancement and shaping next-gen 5G/IoT systems.
