Duophonic Ultra High Frequency Disks Limited, known as Duophonic Super 45s, is a London based independent record label formed by the British pop group Stereolab. The label has two imprints: Duophonic Ultra High Frequency Disks for UK Stereolab releases licensed to various labels worldwide, and Duophonic Super 45s for releases of other artists and certain Stereolab UK only releases (mainly very limited 7" vinyl records). The label's first release was Stereolab's debut ep Super 45, a 10" vinyl record, limited to 880 copies. 40 had handmade covers who were produced by Martin Pike in his father's garage. These copies regularly achieve three figure sums at online auctions. The early Duophonic releases were famous for coloured vinyl only releases. Bands who released records on Duophonic include Broadcast, The High Llamas, Labradford, Tortoise, Pram, Yo La Tengo, The Notwist and Apparat Organ Quartet
