Modeling and Simulation of Steam and Hydro Turbines are the basic ingredients for teaching and research in the area of power systems. Rakesh K. Misra and Devender Singh both obtained Ph.D. from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (ITBHU),Varanasi, India where they are Associate Professor at present.Their research interests are in power systems operation and control. Pratyush Singh was a summer intern at ITBHU during 2010.
