We are already aware of the evolution and transformation of organized retail over the past few decades and its rendition in India. We have also been introduced to various retail formats which have evolved over time. Through this book, we will explore a retail format which has grown exponentially in terms of its popularity but which is still at its evolution and growth stage in India. The book will introduce the concept of e-commerce and then will primarily focus on the B2C (Business-to-Consumers) activities, which can be termed as e-retailing. Through this book, we will explore the emergence, growth, development & diversification of the major e-retailers in India, their success stories and the road ahead.
