This is a research report that primarily assessed students' perception on e-Governance initiative in Yobe State University, Damaturu, Nigeria. It adopted survey methodology and utilises both primary and secondary data. 300 students were sampled out 1642, questionnaires were administered to them and simple percentage method was used in analysing the data obtained. The research discussed in detail the concepts of perception, e-Governance as well as Information and Communication Technology at large. In addition, it has expounded the expansion of e-Governance, successes & best practices of e-Governance across the world, its relevance to worldwide university & general administration, possible constraints in its implementation & presented its application criteria, among other issues. The work is entirely the product of the author's undergraduate research project report in the year 2014 at Yobe State University.

Abdullahi is a young academic with the Department of Public Administration, University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He obtained his first Degree in Public Administration from Yobe State University, Damaturu, Nigeria; and presently pursuing his postgraduate studies. He has equally published in a number of local, national and international journals.
