Internet based concepts and technologies like e- health are increasingly being in use in the health sector to enhance the productivity through generating high quality and timely information for decision making. To tap the advantage of the technology, healthcare institutions at different levels need to be e-health ready. The readiness of healthcare institutions need to be identified using pre-evaluation measurement tools to improve the credebility of such works.This book details at discovering the electronic health readiness level of government healthcare institutions in the city. A cross-sectional survey is followed for the purpose of addressing all the facilities in the City Administration. Readiness, in this context, is addressed from different dimensions for specificity. This study demonstrated different level of electronic health readiness in the government healthcare institutions in the policy, technology, Learning (human) and societal (communication) categories. The book, furhter,embodies remedies to address the issues of discourse.
