Vaginal bleeding is common problem during the first trimester, and occurs in 15% to 25% of early pregnancies. While 50% of women who have vaginal bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy will continue to have a viable pregnancy, and consider as danger signs of pregnancy. The four major sources of no traumatic bleeding in early pregnancy are: Ectopic pregnancy ,and miscarriage spontaneous abortion (threatened, inevitable, incomplete, and complete). Ectopic pregnancy also known as eccyesis or tubal pregnancy is a complication of pregnancy in which the embryo attaches outside the uterus occurs when the developing blastocyst becomes implanted at a site other than the endometrium of the uterine cavity. The most common extra-uterine location is the fallopian tube. Abortion is termination of pregnancy prior to 20 weeks' gestation or with a fetus born weighing less than 500. Is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo from the womb before it can survive on its own. An abortion can also occur spontaneously and is then known as a miscarriage. An abortion may also be caused purposely and is then called an induced abortion.
