Early Greek Epic Fragments IV

This is the fourth and last volume in the sub-series of commentaries on Early Greek Epic Fragments ( EGEF IV). It contains introduction, text, translation, and commentary on the Persika by Choirilos of Samos. Three other volumes have been already published by De Gruyter ( EGEF I: Genealogical and Antiquarian Epic , 2017; EGEF II: Epics on Herakles: Kreophylos and Peisandros , 2022; EGEF III: Herakleia by Panyassis of Halikarnassos and the Theseis , 2024 ). This sub-series within TCSV aims to provide scholars and students with up-to-date commentaries on the extant fragments of early Greek that have not received, contrary to Cyclic epic, the attention they deserve.
