EARLY MANAGEMENT PACKAGE

The study of management is increasingly gaining more attention in view of the need to ensure sustainability in society. There is also increasing bundle of evidence to suggest that the possession and application of requisite managerial skills are important for good management. The art of management started very early in the evolution of mankind and it is believed that the ideas from the early management and leadership thinkers will enhance the ability of contemporary practitioners in their quest to manage and lead organizations. The magnificent leadership and management qualities of Moses over his people, the strategic approach of General Sun Tsu, the leadership brilliance of Niccolo Machiavelli, and the economic and managerial sagacity of Professor Adam Smith are worthy of note to guide contemporary management practical. The exploration of the concept of happiness is a radical approach born out of the author's belief that management should always ensure to make both employers and employees happy. This is the contention of the humanistic theorists also.
