EARLY OR LATE CLASS III TREATMENT

Class III is a malocclusion considered of complex management in the field of Orthodontics and Maxillary Orthopedics, for which different studies have been carried out over the years, and it is concluded that there are different treatment currents related mainly to the age of the patient: early or orthopedic treatment which is carried out taking advantage of the growth potential of the patient, and late treatment where the prediction of mandibular growth is an easier factor to control. Both therapeutic currents have as their objective the correction of the malocclusion, improving the facial profile.
