Easiest ways of financial record keeping for Projects and Businesses

All of us do some accounting, often without realizing it. It is a part of our life. When a housewife tries to note down her household expenses, strike the balance she has on hand at the end of the day or month, or determines how much she needs for the expenses which would arise, she is 'accounting' for the money she withdrew or was given to run the household. In business, however, it is a more serious matter and it is a must. You cannot run a business unless you know how much you owe outsiders and how much outsiders owe you. And when you invest money in a business, wouldn't you like to know whether you've recovered it, increased it or lost it? All this requires systematic record keeping of all that happens on a day-to-day basis in business and analyzing this information to aid business decision making.
