Echocardiographic evaluation of pericardial diseases

Echocardiography is very sensitive in diagnosing pericardial diseases and understanding the hemodynamics. Hemodynamic interpretation of echocardiographic findings is difficult to understand by the beginners. This book has been written with an aim to provide details of echocardiographic evaluation of pericardial diseases. Attempt has been made to provide hemodynamic correlates of various echocardiographic findings in a simplified manner with the help of simple diagrams and detailed illustrations.This book should be useful for beginners in echocardiography.

Autorentext

Prof. S.R. Mittal obtained his D.M.(Cardiology) degree in 1979. Since then he was on the teaching faculty of J.L.N. Medical College, Ajmer for 29 years. He has published 436 research papers in reputed journals and written 36 chapters in different books. He is also author of the book "Echocardiographic evaluation of right ventricular functions".
