Ecology of Juniper Forests, Juniperus phoenicea and Juniperus procera

This book deals with evaluating the status of Juniper forests to adapt different environmental conditions in high altitudes; identifying the patterns and sizes of the two species of Junipers: Juniperus phoenicea L. and Juniperus procera Hochst. ex Endl in the study area in terms of dimensions, size structure and density; assessing the differences between various population characteristics of them; surveying and identifying of wild plant species associated with them in high altitudes and recognizing the plant communities which associated with C. procera in high altitudes. The book includes 12 chapters: introduction, study genus and species, study area, methodology, floristic diversity, associated plant communities, population dynamics, discussion, purposed of management, conclusion, references and appendices.
