Economic Capital and Performance of Private Commercial Banks in Uganda

Maintaining enough capital is a key activity in the management of banks. This book provides a framework of how banks can be able to manage their capital. It provides three key areas that are very critical in capital management. These are risks management, internal capital requirement and capital allocation. The discussions were based on the Basel two framework. Four models were developed that can help practitioners and researchers in the capital management.
