Among the many widely used counselling therapies
Narrative therapy is coming to the fore which is
rooted in post-modern paradigm. This book is a record
of theoretical as well as practical interventions of
Narrative therapy. As a non-blaming, non-judgemental
approach it utilizes all the possibilities of story
telling and re-telling. In this book the author
searches the economic impacts of homelessness in the
discourses of homeless young people. As the young
people constitute the majority of the world
population and among them many are homeless this work
is so beneficial for the international community for
further research on homelessness. It will help social
workers, social activists and policy makers for a
better and deep understanding of homelessness and the
inner discourses of the young homeless. Even if
homelessness is not a general phenomena we all may
went through such experiences of alienation,
joblessness, helplessness, insecurity and so on. Thus

Dr.Renjan John did his M.A in Sociology.He did his M.A and PhD in Narrative Family Therapy from University of Pretoria, South Africa. Serving as the Director of Santhwanam Counselling Centre,South India.Along with his ministry as a pastor of Marthoma Church he is working as a consultant therapist in family matters under legal authorities.
