The book reports on the disaster risk management practices in the GUICADALE Platform, Province of Albay, Philippines and their implications on the economic growth and development of the area. It serves as a scorecard of DRM implementation by the local government and provides a picture of the economic prospects of the DRM project. He is a professor at Aquinas University of Legazpi Graduate School and currently a visiting professor at Dongguk University, Gyeongju City, South Korea.
