Economic Utility & Comparative Study of Pods of P. juliflora

The present investigation was undertaken for studying the economic utility of Prosopis juliflora pods growing in different habitats like sandy and marshy of Kachchh region of Gujarat in India. Along with prosopis pods from different habitats collected, a commercial cattle feed was also analyzed and compared with the Prosopis juliflora pods. Various parameters like Calcium, Magnessium, Chloride, Sodium, Potassium etc. were analyzed from the pods and soil supporting the plant.
