Details
The Boswellia woodlands are facing several challenges in Ethiopia, the most important being conversion to cropland. Whether the conversion is motivated by better economic return to the farmers from alternative land use options, or by institutional weakness in relation to access and user rights in the forest/ woodland resources, was the focus of this book. Moreover, in this book it was tried to realize the economics of land-use options that include forestry is influenced by a number of factors and the policy/ institutional environments that favor or disfavor access and user rights on the other hand. So that the book will be more useful for professionals in forest economics or in related fields and anyone else who are interested in decision-making of land-use planning.
