Biswajit Chatterjee is a Retired Professor at the Department of Economics, Jadavpur University. He is the former President of The Indian Econometric Society and the Indian Society of Labour Economics, and is the President of the Bengal Economic Association. He specialises in development economics, international trade, and the Indian economy.
Dr. Runa Ray is an Associate Professor of Economics at Vidyasagar College Kolkata, and has contributed research in the field of international trade and development economics.
