Economics of Eastern European Migration

This book is concerned with Eastern European migration with a special focus on the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The unique historical experience of these countries together with the in-depth economic analysis of their past and future might be of some interest to the world of science. Not much has been written about this part of Europe in the context of migration and economics of migrations. The book s main objective is to trigger off further research that will draw from the rich history and background of this part of the world.

Dr. Wadim Strielkowski is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Institute of economic studies, Faculty of social sciences, Charles University in Prague and a post-doctoral fellow at CzechGlobe - Global Change Research Centre AS CR, v.v.i.
