ECOPHYSIOLOGY AND TEA CULTIVARS [Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze].

With this publication we aim to provide knowledge for the practical understanding of the eco-physiology of yield generation and quality of the tea crop, in order to help planners, specialists and extensionists to correctly assess the yield potential of new (or existing) tea cultivars, to evaluate the benefits of shade in different locations affected by climate change and to develop selection criteria for new clones. This will provide the basis and criteria for a correct sustainable management of this crop.
