Details
This work find out that education imparts tremendous role on youth and that too on women as decision making power of young girls improves substantially with increase in education. So imparting education to girls is much more beneficial in this sense. It also suggest that there is a need of changing the mental block of typical gender bias in vocational training in the context of the demographic dividend in India and the data shows that youth are willing to have vocational training if provision is made. Male agency is higher than female but interestingly with education female decision making and freedom of movement increases much faster than male. As a whole with increase years of education youth agency increases significantly and Muslims are having lower agency compared to Hindu in southern states
