Education and Empowerment

The purpose of education is the full development of all aspects of the individual-physical, emotional, intellectual, aesthetic and spiritual. True education lifts us from the world of the material to a higher world of spiritual values. It gives us a philosophy, which will utilize the knowledge of physical, physiological, biological sciences and social sciences in the development of character. Since the beginning civilization there has been continual and eternal flow of knowledge and wisdom in our country. Like Minerva, the Greek Goddess of wisdom, in our country the female deity Goddess Sarswati is considered as fountain of knowledge. For the materialistic and spiritual development as well as for performing various kinds of duties, knowledge is considered as main sources of light. This light shows to mankind not only the proper direction to go ahead but to visualize the various fields with minute observation.Empowerment is envisaged as an aid to help women to achieve equality with men or, at least, to reduce gender gap considerably.If education is given to woman than it would lead to education of home, society and world at large.
