Education and Our Society

Education is the backbone of our society and an important instrument for improving our lives. Education brings all round personality development and shapes our lives in a greater way. In other words, education makes us efficient skilled citizen and enables us to understand our environment along with social environment. Thus, social mobility, modernization, social stratification and modernization go hand in hand with education and it brings changes in our society. Education plays very crucial role to improve human life. This book focuses to explore the role of education in social stratification, modernization, social mobility and social changes. This also helps in understand all those from the basics like definitions, meaning, nature, scope, theories, factors associated to get a clear understanding our society and role of education regarding this.
