Sunil Kumar Bhattacharya known as "Nilachariya", was a famous poet. He is also familiar as an engineer. He was born on 4th March of 1935 at Bikrampur in Bangladesh. He spent his life at Beleghata. Then he spent most of his career in the coal fields of Dhanbad, West Bengal and Bihar. Now, as a retired person, literature is synonymous with leisure to him. Although he famous as a poet, but he also known for his story's writings like "Galpo Galpe". There is a hint of freshness and colourful touch in his writing. Till now thirteen of his books of poetry have been published. Some of notable books are - "Nilav Swarna", "Neel Diganta", "Neel Balaka" etc.
