Educational tourism

The monograph analyses and summarises the work of researchers in the field of educational tourism, which the author considers to be a business based on personal communication between the consumer of educational tourism products and the manager, confirming the need to train specialists for this tourism sector. The classification of educational tourism and terminology are clarified: educational tourism, educational tourism product, subject of marketing of educational tourism products, educational tourism manager. The book may be useful for students and teachers of tourism programmes, directors and managers of language schools or tourism companies.

J.A. Graudynia holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences in Tourism, a Master's degree in Education, and is a lecturer at the Baltic International Academy (Riga, Latvia). He is the author of publications on educational tourism, a sector in which he has been working since 2006.
