Effect of acquisitions on Egyptian listed companies performance

Since, Acquisitions issues represents a rich area of research which attracts many scholars to study the various topics associated with acquisitions. Acquisitions activities are typically tied with various synergies and legal issues, CFA Institute ( 2012 ) .Some scholars discuss the different motives that drive companies to involve in acquisition deals and the impact of acquisition on both the acquirer and the acquiring firm, Constantinos ( 2008 ). Other authors discuss the impact of the extent of existence of corporate governance and regulatory systems on the acquirer ability to reorganize the target firms' assets, Capron and Guillen ( 2008 ). Thus, this academic research concentrates on the Impact the Impact of Acquisitions on Short Term Financial Performance of Target Egyptian Listed Companies.
