Effect of drought stress in the various parameters of Indian mustard

The morpho-physiological traits like RWC, chlorophyll content, carotenoid and DSI are important characters under drought condition. All these traits of the varieties helped them to maintain lower DSI and tolerant the drought condition. The Indian mustard varieties RH0749 and RH0406 varieties maintain higher seed yield along with number of siliqae per plant, seeds per siliqua, test weight, seed yield, biological yield, harvest index and oil yield under control condition but under stress condition varieties like RGN 48 and RB50 perform better.
