Effect of environment and nutrients on herbage and oil yield of davana

Essential oils are used in many ways viz., preparation of cosmetics, soaps, perfumes, addition of flavoring agents in bakery items and also in pharmaceutical preparations.Nowadays peoples were aware of chemical containing products which will leads to lot of health problems. Hence Present studies were focused on increasing the essential oil content by using various organic growth regulators under different environmental conditions which has been influencing the biological as well physiological changes in the plants resulting higher oil percentage . Which are used for many preparations.
