Effect of Information Support System on ICT Use in Distance Learning

The modern learning in education involves the use of modern technology which has tremendously increased the drive for learners with respect to their disciplinary knowledge, critical thinking and analytic competencies. Distance Learning is a platform which offers an interface between teachers and students in different places at a given time. The number of individuals disenfranchised from the formal classroom by reason of age, social, economic, and religious barriers had been on the increase thus making Distance Learning inevitable. It is learning driven by computer connected to internet. Further evaluation reveals that the computer and internet generally has been the dynamo to achieve the objectives of distance learning.
